1. Who operates guff.gg
guff.gg is operated as an independent Fortnite fan platform. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. guff.gg is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Epic Games.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, account status, and security information.
- Profile data: username, display name, biography, avatar, banner, preferences, social links, favorite content, and information you choose to publish.
- Community data: posts, comments, reactions, follows, reports, uploads, reviews, wishlists, watchlists, and creator or identity claims.
- Support and safety data: support tickets, attachments, moderation reports, sanctions, appeals, internal review records, and audit events.
- Fortnite-related data: public player lookups, creator codes, island information, public statistics, and records from identified data sources.
- Technical data: IP address and request information available to our hosting, security, CDN, and authentication providers; timestamps; error logs; and basic device or browser information submitted with bug reports.
3. Why we use information
We use information to provide accounts and requested features, personalize the service, operate community and support workflows, prevent abuse, enforce rules, secure the platform, maintain accurate data, communicate service changes, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the context, our legal basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent, or compliance with law.
4. Public information
Public profiles, posts, comments, reviews, creator pages, and similar contributions can be viewed and shared by others. Do not publish private information you do not want made public. Private support conversations, non-public moderation material, and private uploads are restricted to authorized users and staff.
5. Service providers and sources
We use service providers for database hosting and authentication, Cloudflare CDN and R2 storage, VPS hosting, email delivery, security, and operational tooling. We may also cache or normalize public Fortnite-related data from sources identified on relevant pages. Providers process data under their own terms and applicable agreements.
6. International processing
Our providers and infrastructure may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used for international transfers.
7. Retention
We retain account and operational data while an account is active or as needed to provide the service. Public contributions may remain after account closure where necessary to preserve conversations, enforce rules, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations, but may be anonymized where appropriate. Support, moderation, audit, backup, and security records may be kept for limited operational or legal periods.
8. Your choices and rights
You can edit many profile fields and preferences in Settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to a data protection authority. Submit requests through our Data Requests page. We may verify identity before completing a request.
9. Children
guff.gg is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If local law requires parental or guardian consent for a teenager to use an online service, that consent is required. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to this policy.
10. Security and automated safety tools
We use access controls, row-level database policies, audit logs, restricted storage, and moderation tools to protect the service. Automated systems may help flag spam, unsafe content, or suspicious activity, but significant enforcement decisions can be reviewed by authorized staff and appealed where offered.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the platform changes. Material changes will be dated and may be announced through the site or account notifications.
